MASONIC.
The quarterly communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge, North Island of New Zealand, S.C., was held in the Masonic Hall on April 30, Brother Sir F. Whitaker, R. W.P.0.M., in the chair, supported by his otlicers. The following brethren were unanimously elected to their respective oflices :-— Treasurer, Brother P.M. Kayo ; D., Brother P.M. Lindsay (Lodge Waterloo); J.D., Brother Wilkinson; director of ceremonies, Brother R.W.M. Hitchcns (ditto); architect, Brother McLaren (Sir Walter Scott Lodge) ; jeweller, Brother Jarvis ; Bible-bearer, Brother Symonds ; swordbearer, Brother Brings; president board of stewards, Brother Cleave ; vice-president ditto, Brother James Walker (Lodge Star iu Far South) ; organist, Brother Dr. Walker ; marshals, Brothers Forgie and Robson ; standard-bearer, Brother J. P. King; 1.G., Brother Bulford ; tyler, Brother Tonga. The following is the election of itiicers in the Masonic Lodge Beta : Worshipful Master, Brother S. E. G. Smith ; Senior Warden, Brother C. J. W. Barton ; J.W., Brother R. Edwards ; S.D., Brother F. W. Bell ; J.D., Brother G. White; inner guard, Brother H. J. Biggs ; tyler, Brother Pascoe ; secretary and treaiurer, Brother George Edgecumbe, P.M. ; chaplain, Brother R. O'Callaghan Biggs.
