THE LONDON MEETING. l { , . " v •, [SPECIAL TO PBESS ASSOCIATION.] London, April 15, riiE Earl of Oowper presided at the neeting held to consider Mr. Gladstone's Irish proposals. The Earl of Derby and Duke of Argyle wrote expressing their concurrence with the notion before the meeting. The Marquis of Hartington denied the compe;ence of the present Parliament to jnact a measure which would have the jffecfc of bringing about all the evils of separation, without any of the benefits, rhe Marquis of Salisbury and Mr. joschen delivered eloquent orations, md met with a splendid reception.
