Applicants are required to state their age and experience, must be of sound health, and possessed of a certificate of competency or of service from the Municipal Surveyors' Board of , this colony, or of qualification from some recognised examining body, or a diploma of the Institute of Civil Engineers, or of any corporation or body of persons which is accustomed or empowered to grant a similar diploma, and he prepared to present themselves before the Public Works Committee of the Council for personal interview if called upon to do so.
