A meeting was held at Pukekohe on Monday last to form an Agricultural Society for the South Franklin district. The society has been formed for the purpose of promoting the agricultural interests of the district, and it is proposed to hold a show in Pukekohe during the month of April. An influential committee haa been appointed representing all parte of the county, and Mr. F. 0. Thome, of Pukekohe, has been appointed secretary pro tern , , of whom any information may be obtained.
