[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Mapiee, Tuesday. The Herald states, on the authority of a Christchurch correspondent with reference to the severed hand mystery, that the hand was identified soon after it was found as the hand of a shoemaker who had died at a volunteer review a few days before.
