Guetmouth, October 13. — The Anchor Line nteamer Wallace, while coming iu this afternoon, being very light, was caught on the top of a roller and thrown dangerously near the rocks, and before she could regain her position iu the channel she struck on her quarter and landed on the stone work, whoro she lies full of holes. The magistrate replied that the Bench, after hearing the evidence which had been adduced, considered that tho blame rested on the shoulders of Captain l'opo, and tho case was auj iurued until Thursday week. ARRIVAL OF THE RIMUrAKA. Wellington, Oct. (s.—The Riinutaka arrivod at l.o'l this afternoon from Plymouth. She brings 71 saloon, SI second-class, and 210 thirdclass passengers, all arriving in good health.
