THE INTERPROVINCIAL MATCH.
[BY TELEGRAPH.-- correspondent.] Christchurch, Monday. The team to play against Otago is slightly different from that against Wellington, Webb, Chapman, .A tack, and E. Milton taking th'/ place of McLean, Higgina, Blan« chard, and J. Milton. The change makes the team lighter than before, and rather better. They beat an improbable team on Saturday by 4 goals and 3 tries to 3 tries. The play, however, was not considered good by the experts, as the forwards were too glow, and don't dribble sufficiently well. Nevertheless, I think they will do very well on Saturday, as Otago is evidently very strong. We may not win, but there will soarcely be much to spare on either aide. The team includes two wing men, the ex* perience of the Wellington match having shown the folly of trying to do without these useful adjuncts against a team so provided. Atack and Millton are the two. The latter is brother to the ex-Canterbury captain, and himself a member of the Sydney team.
