There are two veins containing good mineral , t in the , face at No. 3 level, and there, seems to ; be a tendency to improve. The crushing if shaping pretty well. . ; , . ! , Darwin.—At No. 3 level there are some ; veins in the hangingwall of the lode don*,' taining fair mineral, and colours of' gold 1 seen. Colours are also. seen In the Btopes . above No. 2 leader.' ;'J:' Golden 1 Crown. -In squaring the bottom of the shaft to-day, lOlbs. of picked stone 1 were obtained, and gold showed freely. Driving towards the Waiotahi on the shaft 3 leader, and uphill ,on the shaft and chamber lodes, will now be proceeded with.
