In consequence of the uneasiness felt in regard to the . foreign situation, the ; greatest activity is being manifested by all the Australian colonies in the matter of defence. • .-C It is very probable that a permanent Militia Camp will be formed in Victoria, to which' the various corps will be drafted for instruction and. drill. BRISBANE. ; Brisbane, April 15. * Precautionary measures in view of the possible outbreak of war between England and Russia, are being : taken by the ' Queensland Government, -in order to place the colony in a better state of ; defence. ;•; The, various forces are being increased, and stringent regulations have been drawn up to control the entry of foreign and other vessels into Moreton Bay. -
