Cheese has come to hand in excess ol demand: several lots still on hand. Butter is still quiet. Furniture In good demand. Saturday and Tuesday : Sales of jewellery, watches, &c. A fail amount of business was done. Wednesday moraine: Sale of fruit at mart. The following prices werii obtained. Persons sending fruit to market should, be carefnl to distinguish the different kinds. Apples, lid to 2}d; pears, ljd to 2d; quinces, l}d to 2d. Wednesday afternoon : A sale of household furniture and effects, at a private house in Jermyn-street. A. very large attendance, f»ir competition and prices. Suite, £12; mahogany sideboard, £10 10s ; pier-glass, £6. Thursday, noon: Sale of allotments at Park: Hill, Blrkenhead. The attendance was not large. Several allotments sold at satisfactory prices. After-' noon: Sale of household fumltnro, at mart. A fair business was done. Friday: Market day sale at, mart. A good attendance, a large amount entered, fair prices were obtained.
