Ms. K. Axbhus's Weekly Biport. — A busy eek in all departments. A lar<e quantity has hanged hands, although business bas been some what nterfered with by the holiday!. Potatoes and onions are pretty well cleared out at about last week's prices. Bacon and hums have moved off fairly wall; all to hand sold. Cheese has come to hand in excess ol demand: several lots still on hand. Butter is still quiet. Furniture In good demand. Saturday and Tuesday : Sales of jewellery, watches, &c. A fail amount of business was done. Wednesday moraine: Sale of fruit at mart. The following prices werii obtained. Persons sending fruit to market should, be carefnl to distinguish the different kinds. Apples, lid to 2}d; pears, ljd to 2d; quinces, l}d to 2d. Wednesday afternoon : A sale of household furniture and effects, at a private house in Jermyn-street. A. very large attendance, f»ir competition and prices. Suite, £12; mahogany sideboard, £10 10s ; pier-glass, £6. Thursday, noon: Sale of allotments at Park: Hill, Blrkenhead. The attendance was not large. Several allotments sold at satisfactory prices. After-' noon: Sale of household fumltnro, at mart. A fair business was done. Friday: Market day sale at, mart. A good attendance, a large amount entered, fair prices were obtained. Could not dear oat cheese. A quantity of fruit had to be held over. Fowls.
