THE RUAPEHU.
[VX TELEGRAPH. — OWN OOBBE3POHDKNT.] Wellington, Saturday. This vessel was tugged off the mud bank on which she grounded at one one o'clock to-day. Three steamers, the Hinemoa, the Grafton, and the Manawatu, were employed in tugging, and vessels were alongside receiving her cargo. The engines of the Ruapehu were also going " full speed astern." The success - of the operations were hailed with three cheers from the men on the big steamer, and responded to by a large concourse of people on shore. There is no reason to suppose that she has sustained any injury. The Hon. G. M. Waterhouse, the well-known member of the Legislative Council, and Mrs. Waterhouae are passengers by tho Ruapehu for England. The Ruapehu has a quantity of frozen matton to take in here, and it is hoped yet to get her away for London on Monday next.
