THE ORIENTAL BANK ESTATE. London, March 10. A number of the creditors in- the Oriental Bank are accepting 17s in the £1 as full satisfaction of their demands. They are now receiving 10s of that amouixt, and will receive the remaining 7s in September. It is believed that at least half of the creditors will accept these terms. '
THE COLONIAL EXHIBITION IN LONDON.
London, March 10.
It has been suggested that Sir Saul Samuel, Agent-General for New South Wales, should be appointed as jointcommissioner for that colony at the forthcoming Colonial Exhibition. It is considered unlikely that Sir Philip Ounlifle Owen will act on the London committee.

It is improbable that any reduction in the present bank rate will now take place.
THE COLONIES AND THE EMPIRE. , London, March 11.
The Times trusts that the loyal enthusiasm displayed by the colonies in regard to assistance for the Soudan will induce an adhesion to the further offers made in case of their being required for other foreign service.
