Tee tramway line has been surveyed for continuing the tramway past the tannery. The buildings consist of large currying, rolling and drying shed (two stories), beam shed, scouring shed, pinning shed, waxing roam, bark shed, hide shed, engine and boiler abed, store room, office, &c, 4c, and all appurtenances, including sixty pits and spenders, necessary for the carrying on of a large tanning business. Also, The goodwill of the said tannery. Secondly All the unfinished leather is the pits at the tannery premises, when stock shall be taken as provided by the conditions of sale. Thirdly—All the plant, machinery, engines, and implements particularly enumerated and described in a list annexed to the conditions of Bile. The Tannery has been established nearly forty years. As a tannery site it is unsurpassed in New Zealand. There is a never-failing supply of clear water from a running stream. No recourse to artificial means for drying is necessary. The drainage is carried into Cooks traits, therefore at »o time can it become a nuisance. FLtHtly-THE BOOT AND SHOE MANUFACTORY is in Ohoznee-street, the he*rt of Te Aro, contains about 14 perches. The buildings, which are of two ttories, are built partly of wood and partly of iron, comprise 4 stock rooms, press rooms. 2 clicking rooms, wax thread machine and eye-letting room, upper machinists' room, 2 rivetters' rooms, fi biters' room, couating-house, secretary'* room. &c, Ice., and contain all the most modern improvements ia labour-saving machinery. The manufacturing plant is one of the most complete in the colony. The goods turned out have commanded a ready sale, and for style and finish cannot be excelled. Also, The goodwill of the said business. Secondly— the Plant, Machinery, Engines, and Implements ecumerated in a list attached to the conditions of sale, and situate on the said Factory premises, Thirdly—The Stock-in-Trade, Leather, Boots, Shoes, Grindery, and Sundries, in the Boot Factory at the time fixed by the conditions of sale for taking stock. Lot 3. LEASEHOLD RETAIL BOOT AND SHOE SHOP, Wiu.ia-axBKXT.--It is situated in one of the bus est thoroughfares of the city, occupies an excellent position, and has & frontage to two streets. Also, the stock-in-trade of boots, shoes, grindery, leather, and other goodi and the shop fittings and furniture situate on the aforesaid premises. Therj is a substantial dwelling-house over the scop, and at trie rear a large warehouse, where manufacturing could be extensively carried on. The stock is a good one, and in the hands of an energetic and competent person, a very large and profitable trade could be dons The lease expires on the 16th day of February, 1883, the rental being £156 per annum, payable monthly. Rates and taxes are payable by the landlord. The central position of Wellington in the colony renders this an opportunity not to be lost by the Trade and Capitalists.
