IMPORTS. Per schooner Aurora, from Rarotonga: 250,000 oranges.—A. Otto. I Inwards CoAßTWlSß.—Tamakl Paoket, out- 1 ter, from Tauranga, with 21 tons gypiam; Nellie, catter, from Wnangapoua, with 3000 feet timber. The schooner Mazeppa was hauled alongside the barque Mountain Laurel yesterday, there to tranship her cargo of copra for London. To-day the Sovereign will be taken alongside for a similar purpose. There is in all some 300 tons of copra awaiting to be shipped into this barque, which is expected to have qoiofc despatch for London. The larger patt of her cargo is already engaged. The schooner Queen left Hokianga for Auckland on Thursday evening last. ■ The s.s. Waitaki took her departure for Whangarei last evening. Yesterday her orotr signed the new articles made oat in conformity with the Seamen's Union rules. The new steamer OUniman, of the Northern Company's line, is to stare running on Monday next. She goes under the charge of Captain Farquhar. Captain Stevenson is to have charge of the "Wellington, and Captain Amodeo of the Glenelg. The schooner Aurora, from Karotonga, oame into harbour last evening with a fall aargo of fruit. Captain Mlnoham reports having left Auckland on Thursday, the 4th of September last. Experienced variable winds and weather up to arrival at Rarotonga, which place was reached on September 23rd. Was windbound for three days. After loading fruit, was towed to sea by whaleboats on October 4th, the wind being northerly. Cleared the land on the 6th, and for the first few days experienced fine weather, after which the schooner was hove-to for five days with heavy westerly gales. Sighted Curtis Island at noon of the 22nd October, when an easterly wind was picked up, in lat. 30*15 S., long. 179*45 E., which lasted only two days. Sighted the Poor Knights on Thursday, and passed Tiritiri at 4 p.m. yesterday, arriving as abore. The schooner Lilian, Captain Piitz, Atrived from a oruise at Rarotonga on September 24 ; she left; again for a cruise on October 5. The schooner Atlantic arrived from a cruise on October 4at Korotonga. The topsail schooner Julia Pryce, Captain Percival, left Rarotonga "or a cruise in the Hervy Group on September !5. The schooner is to come on to this port iorfcly.

They both left again for Waitara at fonr o'olook. The following teamers thonH arrire this morning :—Napier, from Waitara ; the Argyle, {com Hokianga; xnd the Stormbird, from TaraBaki and South. The Union Co.'s b.b. Rotoraa is dne from s&t Sonth to-morrow morning at seven o'olock.
