[BY TELEGRAPH. —YRESS ASSOCIATION. J Chbistchokch, Monday. Patrick McCarthy, a sailor of the American barque H. J. Libby, was accnsed at the Lyttelton R.M. Court of stabbing Captain Richardson, and remanded till Friday in order that the United States Consul, Mr. Griffin, can be communicated with. McCarthy's solicitor has stated that it is the prisoner's intention to bring an action againßt the captain and mate for attempting to marder him.
