The nett result tor the hospital was £370, the highest figure yet recorded here for an amateur performance. SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Adelaide, Augnst 19. Robert Garden Ramsay, son of the Hon. J. G. Ramsay, M.L.C., and a farmer in a large way in the south-east, has levanted to Amerioa. The faneral of the late Rev. James Wray, father of the Chief Justice, took place on Saturday last, and was largely attended. The Federal resolution* are being debated in the House. The two principal objections raised are that the delegates should be elected by the people and not nominated, and that only colonies having a representative form of government should be included. Discovories of good silver lead lodes are reported at Yam Creek territory. The assay gives lOOozs. of silver and 70 p«r cent of lead per ton.
