The Armagh Orangemen resolved that the Orangemen of the whole country attend the anniversary meeting at Newry on July 12th. The London Standard of July 1 eays fwWmiwHal Irish-Americans have urged ParneQ to issue an address to the Irish voter* of America, requesting them to support in the Presidential contest, in the hope that his election would resolt in fomenting difficulties between England and the United State*. Parnell declines to aooede to the requert. The Orangemen of Newry celebrated on July Ist the 194 th anniversary of the battle at toe Boyne. Bonfires blazed on the hQls aad in various part* of • the town. A prooession. preoedea by bras* bands, marched through the street* carrying an effigy marked "The Traitor Lundy," whioh was afterwards burned. The police dispersed a crowd of Nationalists.
