CHESS.—CANTERBURY V. WELLINGTON.
[BV. TEtESKAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christohubch, Saturday. The ohess match, Canterbury v. Wellington, was continued on Saturday, and Wellington scored the first win, through Searell giving a wrong message, and thus losing his queen. He at one resigned. At the other nine boards, Wellington has the advantage at one; Canterbury has the winning position at one, and a slight advantage at two others. It is probable that some games will not be completed.
