A man named Peoples, who had been drinking, took a bottle of poison, which he bought »t a local store, and took two doses, though it is not known how much. H« was in a very bad state when visited by Dr. Gripe, but is now out of danger, and is recovering. No reason is assigned for the deed except that the man was temporarily deranged from the effects of drink.
