CVunb ac the back of her licul no U naments not rings tho decoration were quite lovely every rouin lit with u.ix candles jnat a slip of Damask for tho plates round the Table the Center of the table looking Gla3s all the doors ware left open ami put Ovi-r every door was most beauty ml Needlework every dish was ornainen:ed with the Arms of Portugal needless troble for every visiter helped themselves quickly I do not think one of the partj saw anything about it every dish Cut up to look whole put into all shorts of Beautyful Shapes Chariots and Towers >ouie nude with rice and some with Bread Browned every tiling just rilled in which kept the Cooking perfect every dish wunt round to each visiter with a Spoon and a waiter after the dish with the Saucea I begin to wonder if il would ever end I do thinfc if ever a Crown Prince made a good dinner one made one here I had my Kyeu and Ears open every visitur had their Coffee fiom a large Tray but the Prince had his. from a small one himself every thing so well done thare was not a Single Hitch the refreshments for the hwairie was quite Beautiful every part of the bouse waa covered with Scarlet Cloth, the Ferns and Flowers wae quite worth going to see the decorators ware allowd to remain to see him arrievo and to their great delight when he sat down to dinner at ouce put ,the lovely flowers they had put away for him his Coat."
