HENDERSON'S MILL JOCKEY CLUB.
Tim annual meeting of the Henderson's Mill Jockey Club was held ou Friday, the ISth Jan., in the Auckland Racing Ciab'a office, Mr. J. Malam in the chair. The Secretary (Mr. Percival) read the minutes of last meeting, which were confirmec?, and Mr. Thomas Henderson (Treasurer) read the Treasurer's report. The total receipts were £406 13< lid, and the expenditure left a balance o£ £23 13s 6J, although out of last year's receipts an expenditure of £75 having been incurred on the grand stand. On the motion of Mr. Isaaca, the Treasurer's report, which was considered satisfactory, was unanimously adopted. Mr. Thus. Henderson, sen., wu appointed president; Mr. A. K. Taylor, vice-presiden"; Mr. W. J. Hurst, M.H.R., judge; ana Messrs. Thos. Murrin, Joseph Bennett, John Kirkwood, J. Marshall, J. Malam, T. Henderson, jun., J. Smythe, and J. Archibald wero appointed stewards and committee. Mr. R. tu. I>aac3 was appointed clerk of the course; Mr. J. Archibald, starter; Mr. Tuos. Henderson, jun., treasurer. A programme was then drawn up, showing a considerable increase on the programme of last year. Some alterations were also made in the races. The total amount of addsd money ji £300, as again>t £240 last year. j
