In introducing to public notice this beautiful structure, which is admitted b7 all visitors who have inspected it to be the premier Motel of the Austral* aslan Colonies, the Proprietors beg to draw the attention of visitors and residents to some of the advantages it will offer. Being of tiro proof construction, with simple and effective means of escape from every floor by the exterior balconies and circular iron staircase, all the tipper floors are made practically as lafe aj the ground one. Each floor is supplied with a separate ttra service, made to our order by Messrs. Shand and Mason, of London. No modern public building can rank as first-clan nnlcsj great attention be paid to these particulars. This Hotel is insured for 60 por cent, lower premium than any other hotel in the Colony. It has a central and open position, facing Customhouse Square ; charming views are obtainable of the harbour, Peninsula, and ocean from the uppor floors; it is situated in tho contra of the tramway systems, and at a convenient distance from the railway station. It is commodious enough to afford all those comforts and conveniences that are to be found in the largest modern hotel establishments, such as efiiciont office administration, which will be arranged on the American plan; a beautiful vestibule, passenger olevator, sample-rooms, large private reading and smoking room, a guests drawing-room for ladles and gentlemen, avoiding tlio necessity of private tarlours; suites of rooms with private baths ; private bath and toilet accommodation solely for ladies; a ladies' private entrance and reception room ; a hairdresslhg establishment, laundry, etc. The sanitary appliances, which are of the moat perfect description, were imported specially for the buildings, and to avoid fanlty fitting, and to render the introduction of sewer gas impossible, the plumbing has not been done by contract, bnt with the greatest care by Moots. Anderson and Morrison,-who were under instructions to execute all this work on the plans recommended by tho London Sanitary Commissioners. The basement drainage is perfect, and the whole section is concreted and cemented ; whilst there is also an abundance of light and ventilation in every part. Thus the whole building cannot bo otherwise than healthy and agree iblo. It will be newly and elerantly furnished throughout Special attention will be paid to tho bedding : woven wiro spring mattresses only will be used. Notwithstanding all these advantages the tariff will be no higher than that ot other first-class hotels. This Hot* I is confidently presented to the public as the leading one of the Colony. The now establishment will bo carried on under distinct management, and will in no way affect the old one (known as Watson's Hotel and Cale"), which has jnst bren renovated, and will be conducted as usual under a reduced tariff.
