Frail F'umituro moves off frody. Wednesday: Sale c ; i machinery, stock, &c., at Messrs. Baldock ii& l iirttty'f. Cool;-street. A good number were preser.'.. a!! brought fair prices. Thursday: Sale of fruit, ji-.ui, £c. A good attendance. Prices rulod low. t'anr.nas sold at Id to ljd; lemons, 2d to 4d per dozen; Grey and Co.'s Tasmanian jam. at 4s 7d to 4s 8d; Murray and Son's, 4s to 4s hd; oranges. 5s Cd to 7s 8d p*r case; peanuts, from 2d per lb. The sale cf household furniture, piano, &c, at a private house, Union-Str.et. A large attendance. Fair prices were obtained. The piano sold at £25; suite, £13 IDs. Friday: ILirket-day sale at mart. The attendance was not so large as usual. Peltry was entered in fair quantity. All sold at very high prices. Produce generally was dull; many lines had to be passed, fowls 2a Id to 3s 4d; brahmas, 10?
