"Weights for Stewards' Handicap will be declared after the Cup has been run for, and acceptances will be received up to a quarter of an hour before the racc. In the event of a walk over, only 50 per cent, of stakes will be paid. No entry will be received except on the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising, shaU be decided by the Stewaras. or whom they may ap« point, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 2sovs., which will be forfeited to the funds of the Club, should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
