ANOTHER FIRE AT HAMILTON.
(BY TF.LEGRAVH.-M>WW COttBESPONIi-EKT.i'^ Hamilton, I had yeeterday to send yon an account of the destruction by fire of the Congregational Church and Mr. Davia's residence. About midnight the Hamilton Hotel billiard saloon was burned to the ground. The adjoining buildings wero only s&ved from destrugtiou by the exertions of the people, who turned out aiul who worked with a will. Mrs. G vvynne had an insurance policy of £130 on the billiard table, &c, in the London and Lancashire. The building belonged to the Church Mission, and was insured for £200. -1
The following telegram was received yesterday by Superintendent Thompson, from Sergeant -VlcUovernj Hamilton :-~" A. billiard room, rented by Mrs. Gwynne, Hamilton West, was burnt down lagt flight (Wednesday), between eleven and twelve o'clock, It is supposed that the fire was accidental. The building was the property of the Kev. Mr. Burrows, of -Auckland, and doubt-lens it was iueured in some of the Auckland oflieca The billiard table and furniture wero insured for £150. in the London and Lancaehire Insurance Company."
