The German corvette Hjasae and the brigantine Eliza Firth were both docked yesterday aiorning. The former will undergo an overhaul at the hands of Mr. C. Bailey, and the brigantino will receive attention from Messrs. Sims acd Brown.

The P..M. s.?. Zealandia, from San Francisco, ■with the mails which left London on the 22ud February, may be looked for to-morrow afternoon, or early on Monday morning. The loaa will make her usual weekly trip to Waiweia Hot Springs thisaftornoon. The Chamber of Shipping at London, on February 9, passed the tollowing resolution : — "That efforts be made by the Council of this Chamber tc obtain the abolition of charges for officers of Her Majesty's Customs working ov-er-timo in India and at all the ports of Hritish possessions abroad." The s.s. Argyle, on her return from her present :rip to VVhangarei, on Monday next, will leave for the Manukan, in charge of Captain JoliDßon. On arrival at the Manukau, Captain Johnson will briug tho s.s. Macgregcr round to thin port, where she will remain to receive a netv and larger boiler, the present one not bein» found of sufficient power for the vessel. Captain Crawford will take charge of the s.s. loca, arid run her in the place of the h.B. Argyle, whilst the Argyle is to take up the running of tbe Macgregor, until she is ready to resume her trade. The s.s. Wellington took her departure for Tr.uranga last evening. Tho s.s._ Argyle also tcok her departure for Whangarti at the same time. The barqua Letterewe cleared outwards at the SCustoms yesterday for Wellington. She tikis on a part cargo, being her original loading from Liverpool for Wellington. She will sail to-d^y. The cutter Leo !eft for Whangarei yesterday, v.-ith 277 sacks wheat, 2 caaea kerosene, 1 case whijky, 4 mats sugar. The s.s. Kotomahana left on a special trip to Mercury Bay last oveniug with about 30 passengerß. Hhe will return again this evening. The baique Andreas Kus was berthed at the inner western tee yesterday, for the purpose of commencing to take in hi-r New York cargo. The baique Thames came out of dockyester dry morning and was beithed at the outer eastern tee. Whilst in dock she has received a thorough overhaul, new copper, &c. The barque will commence her loading for IvewYoik at O ce.
