MASONIC.
The quarterly communication of the District Grand Lodge, K.C., was helel on March 7 in the Masonic Hall, Princes s'.reet. In the abseuce of the R. W. the D.G.M , Brother Graham, the V.W., the D. D.G.M , Brother Loelder, presided. The fornal and routine business was transucted, anrl the following officers, who wt re not able to be present at the previous quarterly meeting, were invested :—Brother A. V. Macdonald, Treasurer, G.C.V. ; Brass n y, Superintendent, of Works, T.T. Gamble aud Leßoche Ftewards. In order to meet the convenience of the D.G.M. anel others, the following resolution was passed, on the motion of thqD.D.G.M., alteiing the time of meeting of the Gran l Lodge : —" That by-law No. 4 be amended as follows :—"Quarterly communications ot the District Grand Lodge shall be holden at Auckland iu each year on the ' first Thursday of January, April, July, and October,' insteael of the first Wednesday of March, Juue, September, and December," &e. It was further that instead of holding a meeting next month, the first regular quarterly communication of- the Grand Lodge shoulel bo held on the Ist Thursday in July.
