HAURAKI SAWMILL COMPANY.
The anuual meeting of the shareholders of the Huuraki riawmill Company, Limited, was held yesterday at the registered ofliee of the company, Shortland-stivet, Mr. David Nathan in the chair. M-\ Ciritilths, the secretary, read the balance-sheet, made up to the Slat December, ISS"2, together with the auditor's report. The shareholders expressed themselves satisfied with the contents of the same, and after a few explanations from the secretary regarding laud purchase matters, the report was adopted as read. Mr. Dewar retired from the directory, ami was re-appointed a director of the company. Mr. \Y. Jiaker was re-elected auditor of the company for the ptesent year. The shareholders approved of the course being adopted by the company — nimely, in ac [uiring a freehold title to their leasehold proptrty, and devoting the funds of the company towprds that object instead of paying a dividend. Mr. Dewar moved a vote of thanks to the chairman, aud the me-.-ting closed.
