THAMES JOCKEY CLUB.
[prom our onvn CORRESPONDENT.J Thames, Saturday. The sale of the Thames Jockey Club privileges to-day realised £311 Is. This is the largest sum that their privileges have ever brought. The acceptances and general entries for their midsummer meeting close on Monday, the 11th instant. Five more horses arrived in Auckland on Saturday for the purpose of fulfilling their engagements at our forthcoming Summer meeting. Their names arc — liippodamia, Fishwoman, New Year, Mount, and Ngata. The three first named were taken up to Mr. Walters' place at Papakura shortly after arrival, and they will there receive their prepaiat on.
