(reutbr's cablegram.] Sydney, December 9. Ik the Newcastle match the scores of the Englishmen at the close of yesterday's play were as follows Hon. Ivo Bligh, stumped, 22 ; Barlow, not out, 34 ; Leslie, c, 51 ; C. T. Studd, b, 0 ; Steel, not out, 5 : total for 3 wickets, 130. The weather was very fine during the day. The local team in their first innings only made 67. [Received December 11, 12 3# a.m.] The cricket match between the English Eleven and a local team was continued at Newcastle to-day. The first inniDgs of the visitors closed for 217, and at the conclusion of the day's play, the home team in their second innings had lost 1 wicket for 25 runs.
