GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the dispatch or arrival of the Trains at tho exact times notillud in tho above Tables, and. in the event of any circumstances arising, cither during or prior to the journey being made, which may rentier it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Furts paid, but docs not undertake to forward the Passengers. LucuAiiE. — Kach Passenger Is allowed to tike 1121bs. of PERSONAL Luggage free (not including merchandise of any kind), ami for every sMbs., or fraction of r.Olbs., above this weight, for every 50 miles i>r fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One Shilling. No Luggage will be allm-d to be taken into the carnages, unless of such a .vizu that it can bo placed under thu soat without inconvenience to other Passengers. Passengers arc strongly recommended to have their Names ami the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on the 1 rain, as the l::.ilway Department will not be responsible unless t is booked and paid for. Passengers Kin be Hooked at Stations only on conditiiin that there is room in the Train. Children under three years of ago travel free ; above three ami under twelve years of age, half-faro. lI..HSKS, Uajihiaukx, £c—Tho Ifiulway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; liut, when sent, they must bo ut tlie forwarding Station lialf-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The Owners of Horses must ami the J tail way Department will not he accountable for any injuries sustained through their brcakingloosc or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for Horse-boxes or Carriage-trucks must be made tho day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sulliciunt means of securing then). They will not bo allowed in carriages, anil the sender must obtain n Ticket, to be given up at tho end of the journey, and before the Dog is delivered. Return Tickets, for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on day of issue only; for each additional 2J miles, or fraction thereof, one,"day extra is allowed. I'eturn or Periodica! Tickets will not be available for Special and Excursion Trains, except when the ordinary lime Tahlo is suspended. Ordinary Single Tickets issued on Saturdays and Sundays arc, available as Itetuni Tickets until the last ordinary Train on the following Monday.
