SLo will sail again for the Islands from Whangarei ia a few days. The Three Cheers is the first vessel that has been berthed at tho new Railway Wharf, which h now finished and open for traffic. Owing to the fresh N. and N.E. wind which prevailed yesterday, several vessels fur sea were unable to take their departures. Shipping business waa very quite yesterday, and this na«y be accounted for from the fact that nearly all the wholesale houses were closed, it being St. Andrew's Day. The Union S.S. Co.'.s s.h.
