At a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rifle Association, held this eveuiug. it i was decided to hold the. next prize competition at Dunedin, to commence on Friday, the 3rd of November next. The programme was decided, upon, and includes four matches for each. A champion belt, and prize of £20, Will be awarded to the highest aggregate scorers. ■■ For a fifth, match, to decide the champion, prizes varying from £100 to £120 "vrill be given. The aggregate prizes for each class amount to £102 10s. £50 goes with the belt. The team matches are the same as the previous; year, the prizes varying from £40 to £5.. The Otago Ladies' Shield matches ' are included in the programme.
