AMUSEMENTS.
The Cikccs. —This place of entertainment continues to draw well, and judging by the applause of those who patronise it, it would seem that the audiences are well satisfied with the amusement, afforded them. Large numbers of young and old folk attended tho matinee on Saturday afternoon, and all seemed highly pleased with the feats of the different performers,. and not least with the jokes and antics of the clown, Max Rinkle. In the evening the tent was thronged. . The performance concluded with the equestrian drama of Dick Turpin's Ride to York." A new programme is announced for this evening. The present week is the last of tho Circus in Auckland. Kohler's Waxworks.—A large number of people visited this exhibition on Saturday, and from the interest' manifested in the various figures it is evident that its attractiv6D6ss 13 not yet on the wane. The- exhibition will be open during the usual hours to-day. , .
