A SCHOOL-TEACHER DISMISSED.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Dunedin, Thursday. It is understood that the Education Board to-day gave notice of discharge to a teacher named Farmer, who, on being applied to by the Board, admitted being the author of a letter which appeared in the Daily Times a few days ago, commenting on the appointment of Inspector Goyne. The proceedings were transacted in committee, and information was refused to the reporters.
