SUPREME COURT.-In- Baxco. Friday, 17th March. (Before Mr. Justice Gillies.] The weekly sitting in banco was held this morning, aud the following bussiness transacted :— DEED OF ARRANGEMENT. Re John Thomas Smith. —Mr. George moved for declaration of execution of a deed of arrangement in this estate. The debtor, who is the lar llord of a well-known hotel, assigned every thing for the benefit of creditors. The papnrs were in order, the assent of creditors representing number and value had been obtained. His Honor made an order declaring the deed completely executed.
Re James Soppstt.—Mr. S. Hesketh applied for a declaration of complete execution of a deed of arrangement. The papers were in order. His Honor suggested that the deed should be signed by the trustees. —Order made in terms of application. Judges' Chambers. [Before His Honor Mr. Justice Gillies.] His Honor disposed of the following business in Chambers :— Re Peter James, Deceased.—Mr. Browning moved for renewal of letters of administration.—Order made. Re Donald Bcciuxas*, Deceased.—Mr. S. Hesketh applied for letters of administration.—Order made. Re Robert Noble Herbert Matthews, Deceased.—Mr. Alexander applied for probate.—Order made. Re James Quai.trouch, Deceased.—Mr. Whitaker applied for probate.—Granted. Re Edwin" Jon us, Deceased.—Mr. Whitaker applied for probate.—Granted. Re Edward Lonsdale, Deceased.—Probate was granted. Re Sir William Martin*, Knight, Deceased. —This was an application by Mr. Whitaker for letters of administration with will annexed. — Application granted and order made as prayed.
