Melbourne, December 24. The intercolonial cricket match between an eleven of "Victoria and an. eleven of New South Wales was commenced here to-day. The first innings of the Victorians closed for 232, and at the close of the day's play the Sydney team had one wicket down for 21 runs. SMALL-POX. Sydney, December 24. The small-pox patients at the sanatorium are progressing favourably. RELIGIOUS CAMP MEETING. Melbourne, December 24. A religious camp meeting takes place at Queenscliffe to-morrow, Christmas Day.
