HIGH SCHOOL.

The season of tlie High School closed on Tuesday last, when Mr. Macrae read the honour list to the pupils. No invitations were sent out to the parents aud friends of the pupils, as the room available is very restricted. There are now nearly 90 boys on the roll of the High School, and there have been ten beginners during the last quarter, an unusually large number. There are already thirty applications for the newyear. Tlie best feeling possible has prevailed amongst the boys, which was abundantly shown at the proceedings on Tuesday. Hearty cheers were given for the Rev. D. Bruce, who has aided in the tuition for the last six months, and for the master, Mr. Macrae. The following is the honour list: —
