THE MINING SCANDAL. Sydney, November 11. In the Assembly last night, on the adjourned debate on the Milburn Creek Mine enquiry, Sir Henry Parkes moved, " That Mr. Garrett, member for Camden, -was unworthy of confidence, in consequence of his action in connection with the award to the company." Mr. Garrett made an eloquent speech in his own defence, and the motion was finally rejected by 40 to 38. RESIGNATION OP SIR JOHN ROBERTSON. Sydney, November 11. Sir John Robertson, Vice-President of the Executive Council and representative of the Government in the Legislative Council, has resigned his portfolio. The actual cause of this has not transpired, but it is believed to be due to differences between Sir John Robertson and his colleagues in regard to the policy of the Government. ADELAIDE WHEAT MARKET. Adelaide, November 11. Wheat per bushel is 5s 4d to 5s sd. The market is dull. Town flour per ton is £12 j country brands, £11 ss. Freights to the United Kingdom from Adelaide are 47s 6d; ditto from the outports, 50s. RAM SALE. Melbourne, November 11. At the sale of Mr. Cummings' fams to-day, the highest price realised was 1400 guineas.
