YOUNG WOMEN'S INSTITUTE.
Tiie thirteenth lecture of the course on "Home Nursing" was delivered by Mrs. Bernard Moore on Saturday afternoon, and was listened to with the greatest interest. It comprised instruction as to the preparation of the patient and the room for the visits of the surgeon and the physician, different kinds of baths, wet pack, steam for keeping the air moist, fomentations, poultices of various kinds, blisters and their dressing, and much more useful general instruction for the nurse. The filth lecture, which closes the series, will be given next Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Moore has been asked by some ladies to give the course again, and has consented to <lo so. Ladies who desire to hear them should give in their names to Miss Laura Smith at an early date, as the lectures will begin very shortly after the close of this course.
