'Tenders. O S. 'R O S E C A S E Y. , Tenders are icvited for the purchase of the above first-class Steamer, and of the Goodwill of the Trade in which sbe is engaged. The ' Rose Casey' is an iron serew steamer, built liy Frazer & Tinne, of Auckland, and launched in 1879. She is 102 feet in length, by 17 feet beam, and has a depth of hold of 91 feet. She is fitted with a pair of compound surface-condensing engines of 109 horse power (nominal), and is weU known to be ono of the smartest, most commodious, and best appointed steamers on the coast of New Zealand. Her total cost when making her first trip in March 1879, was upwards of £8000, and she haa lately undergone a complete vtrhaul a nd has always bees kept in first-rate order. The vessel is engaged in a very lucrative trade, and the owners are under contract for two years with the Postmanter-General, for the conveyance of mails to Waiwera, Kawau, Omaha, Mahurangi. and Matakana, at a subsidy of £250 per annum. There is also an excellent office on the Queen-street Wharf, with fireproof safe and other fittings complete.
