[Before Mrcssrs. J. Cosgrave and F. L, Prime, Justices.] DnusKUN'XESs.—Two persons were punished for this offence. Neglected Children.—Maria and Emily Leaning, neglected children within the meaning of the Act, were committed to the Industrial School for seven years each. Ellen and Henry Hill, and Ernest and Charles Pollard were re-committed to the school and Cecilia Weston was discharged to go to her brother. Careless Traveller. —■ John. Tremain was charged with leaving a railway carriage while the train was in motion. On the application of defendant, the case was remanded till the 6th of Jane. Drunk ijt a Railway Traix. — Simon Miller was convicted of having been drunk in a railway carriage between Auckland and Onchunga. He was fined 10s and costs.
