A specimen of New Zealand flax matting has been added to the collection at the Christcliurch Industrial Association rooms. It was manufactured in Auckland, and is exhibited by Messrs. Ballatyne and Co. It resembles the ordinary cocoanut matting somewhat, but is more substantial. Dr. de Jongii's Light-Brown Cotj Livf.u OrL. —In Consumption its officacy is unequalled. Dr. Nedley, Physician to the Lord-Lieutonant of Ireland, writes: "Of all the preparations of that valuable remedial agent, Cod Liver Oil, the must uniformly pure, the most palatable, and the most easily retained by the stomach, is Dr. do Jongh'a Light-Brown Oil. I have habitually prescribed Dr. do Jongli's Oil in cases of Pulmonary Consumption, with very beneficial results, and I oan confidently recommend las the most efficacious kind." 3old only in capsuled Imperial.
