<, The closing match of the season between tlio Went End first eleven (with broomsticks) v. West End second eleven (with bats), so far as the members of the West End Club are concerned, will lie commenced on tlic Domain ground on thia (Saturday) afternoon, to be continued and completed on the following Saturday. As thia is about the first match of its kind that will have been played in lucklaud, a large number of spectators may bo expected to witness it. The first eleven have had a most successful season, having won all (but one) of the matches. We shall publish a tabulated return of the results of the matches of this club on some future occasion. The following are the names of players who will represent the flrst eleven in to-day's match: Messrs. Lynch (captain). Mason, Ameil, Coleman, Choycc, Jlacky, King, Mitchell, Isaac, Colgan, and 1 Hussell. Whilo the following will play forthe second eleven :—Jtessra. Wallace, Hanna, Lewis, Banfleld, . Cotter, Spry, Chapman, Woods, Berry, Courtayne, ' and Baker. 1 A match wiil be played, to-day, between a Bank of New Zealand eleven and eleven chosen from the combined Banks. The match will be played in the Domain, on No. 1 wicket, play commencing ' punctually at 0 a.ni Impey's band will be iD atteu- • dance. Judging from the following names, the game . should be closely contested:—Bank of New Zealand: . K. Erookfield, J. C. Colbeck, A. Cook, N. F. Giblin, A. W. Horsburjjh, G. A. Kissling, D. M. Martin, W. Siiiuns, H. A, Watt (Captain), T. Whewell, and E. H. Whitaker. Combined Banks:—National Hank: E. C. Beale, C. H. Gould. H. M. Jerris and J. C. Webster. Australasia Bank: J. King and C. J. Smyth TJnion Bank :H. Mocatta and W. E. Woodward. New South Wales Bank: P. S. Butler. Colonial Bank: A. H. Beale and E. Clayton. A gentleman has presented a very handsome bat to the largest, aggregate scorer In the Banks' cricket match. The bat will be on view in Mr. Jtobinson's window to-night. The return match Onehunga v. Auckland will bo plaved in the Domain to-day on the No. 1 wicket. The following will represent Auckland:- Bindon, Buckland Cameron, Chceseman, NichoHs, Reid, Roach, Robinson, Thompson, Williams, Williamson. The following will represent Onehunga: —Donovan, Daly, Jiirr, Mahoney (2), Fatten (2), Brennan, Brown, Eastwood, Leahy, and Beaver, emergency. It will be seen, on reference to our advertising columns, that Mr. R. Graham, proprietor of Lako Houso Hotel, Ohinemutu, has fitted up a complete hydropathic establishment in connection with tliat hostelry. It will be conducted upon the system of the late Mr. Smedley, of Matlock, England. The services of a lady who, for many years managed a similar establishment at Matlock, and who is conversant with the SinotUy system, has been secured;to attend upon the visitors at Lake House, who may re--1 quire such assistance, ■ ; In this week's Auckland SATtntDAr Night a novellette, entitled the "Tho Parson's Oath," by toe very popular English writer, Mrs. Henry Wood,', is commenced. .
