New Zealand Herald Office. Tuesday evening. Thb Customs receipts to-day amounted to £1930 2s 2d. At Messrs. B. Tonks and Co.'a trade sale of blankets, ehirting, calicos, rugs, and clothing, all the lines were quitted at very fair prices. At Mr. G. Sibbin's fruit sale, the bananas brought fair prices. The oranges ex Sybil were withdrawn at 9d per dozen, only a small lot being sold at that price. At Mr. L. W. Eaton's fruit sale, the following prices were realised : —Pears, 7s to 8a 3d per oase: apples, 7s to 10s per case; Sydney oranges, 6a 0(1 to 10s per case ; Island oranges, 7£ per dozen ; cocoannts, 10s 6d per 100; peanuts, per lb.
