THE COAL MINE, with Iron Tramways, containing about 110 tons Rails, Wharf, Barge, Trucks, Leasehold and Freehold Property and Plant, and all the other requisites for a Coal Mine, of which tbo following is a brief description Lease from the Crown of One Hundred and Sixty Acres for Twenty-one years, from Ist January, 1870,' at a royalty of 2 per cent., but not less than £16 a-year. The Coal Seams, five in number, have been cut at right angles, by a main "" tunnel 7x5. For shipping the Coal there is a Wharf, 7 chains 45 feet long, built principally of tlio best timber, with large bunkers for holding Coal to shootinto vessels loading alongside. The Freehold consists of Two-and-half Acres and Thirteen Sections of the Township of Ferntown, near the Wharf, on which is Managers House, Dwellings for Labourers, and all similar requisites. The Mine has been worked up to a recent date on tribute, and given a good return. The Coal is considered amongst the best produced in the Australian Colonies.
