In pursuance of By-law No. 1, "To prohibit the Straying of Cattle within the County of Waitemata," enacted by the Council of the said County on the 22nd December, 18S0, in accordance with "The Counties Amendment Act, 1880," it is hereby notified that a Public Pound has been established at Henderson's Mill, in the said County, and that Richard James Vercoe has been appointed Keeper to the said Pound, and that he is authorized to collect the Fees, as proclaimed on the Notice Board at the said Pound. Plans may be seen in the Surveyor's Ofllce, Queenstreet, Auckland, and all persons interested therein, or liable to be aggrieved thereby, will be heard by the City Council at a Meeting to bo held on THURSDAY, May 10, 1881.
