Lalla Rookh, from Raglan : 14 packases effects, 4 bales fungus, 14 sacks rape seed, 13 packages hides, 3 bales sheepskins, 31 bales wool, 4 packages sundries, and 4 empties. Per s.s. Oreti, from South: 14 horses, 10 sacks barley, 30sacks oatmeal, 1 crane, 20 hides, 2 bags wool, and 19 packages sundries. Per s.s. Rowena, from Waitara : 269 sacks grass seed. The s.s. Lalla Rookh arrived from Raglan on Saturday night with a cargo of wool and sundries. She leaves again for Waitara at 10 o'clock this morning. The s.s. Oreti arrived from the South at 8 a.m. yesterday. She left Dunedin on the 6th, and arrived at Oamaru at 5.30 a.m. on the 7th; left again at 6 p.m. same day, and reached Lyttelton next day at noon; left again at 6 p.m., and arrived at Wellington on the 9th at 9 p.m.; left again on the 10th, and arrived at Wanganui on the 11th at 8 a.m.; left for the North at 9.30 p.m. Bame day, arriving at Tai-a--nakiat9.3o a.m. on the 12th; left again at 3 p.m., and arrived as above. Experienced heavy sea between Lyttelton and Wellington, and thence to Manukau 6ne weather. She is advertised to proceed South oa Tuesday, the 15th inst. The s.s. Rowena arrived from Waitara yesterday at 2 p.m. with a carj;o of grass_ seed. She is announced to return thither this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Freights by the vessel have been reduced to 12a 6d per ton. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Hawea arrived from Southern ports yesterday morning. We are in- ' debted to the purser for latest files and the following report:—Left Port Chalmers on the 7th February, Lyttelton Sth, Wellington 10th, Piston same evening. Nelson 11th, Taranaki 12tb, at 4.30 p.m., and arrived at Onehunga on the 13th, at 8 a.m.
