THEATRE ROYAL. —LYDIA HOWARDE COMPANY.

Tiie performances yesterday evening included the comedietta entitled "A Bilious Attack," and the musical burlesque entitled "The Child of the Regiment." The incidents follow those of the opera very closely. Miss Howarde played the part of Josephine, Mr. j Mowry that o£ the Duke of Grandtete, Mdllc. De Glotiau was the Countess of Birkenfeldt, and Mr. Power sustained the part of Sergeant Scalade. The principal features were the rataplan in the first act and the solo with flute accompaniment, " Hark, the .lark," by Miss Howarde, in the second act. As au example of executive skill this was excellent, and was loudly applauded. The performance as a whole was satisfactory. To-nij'lit Dibdin's famous musical burlctta, "The waterman," will be revived. Some of the finest examples of old English ballad music were first produced in this operetta. The performance will conclude with a pantomimic burlesque entitled " Tom, Tom, tiie Piper's Son." Mr. Grattan R.io-«s will make his first appearance on Monday as the Irish Detective, in seven different roles. 'He is spoken of in hisjh terms as 'an Irish comedian.
