Creature Comforts. —It may be, and doubtless is, perfectly true, that " Good wine needs 110 bush." But seeing that the good old custom is obsolete, the scribe may be permitted to point out where that and other good things may be obtained. Colonials who visited the Sydney Exhibition mav recall with some degree of inward satisfaction, tlie tasting of somo choice samples of wines, sjnrits, and liqueurs at tlio stand o£ Mr. E. Vauglian Jones, for whom Messrs. Charles Day & Co., of Loudon, are the sole export agents. That the exhibits were of first rate excellence is shown by the simple fact of the firm carrying off the first three and highest awards, one of these being marked " Special," a satisfactory proof that the exhibitor was tlio right man in the right pliice. We are given to understand that the firm will occupy a prominent position at the Melbourne Exhibition, and colonials will do well to
" mark, learn, and inwardly digest" tho fact and not omit to taste their delightful contributions ; they will not only try, but buy, and go upon their way rejoicing, internally thanking us for pointing out " a thing of beauty " uot easily forgotten. Wc are pretty well posted-up in colonial tastes, and need only echo the last word of the Stuart—"Remember" -Rose's Australian and New Zealand Prices Current "
